We've been working hard on a massive website overhaul for Henley Royal Regatta over the last 2 months.
Everything from the design of the site and the results system, to every last bit of content has been overhauled. We've spent a lot of time and thought on the navigation to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find what they are looking for.
The Regatta website is visited by three separate groups:
1) Racing crews and their rowing clubs
2) Spectators at the Regatta and the general public
3) Media and journalism teams
As a result of identifying these groups we ended up splitting up the main Regatta information section into 'Crews', 'Spectators' and 'Media', so you don't need to search through unnecessary stuff to get what you need. Re-designing and re-working of most of the old content on the site then followed.
The Regatta website has an automated results system which is available for free to anyone who visits the website. During the Regatta, our team enters the race information onto the system as it happens, which then does the following:
See the results system here.
We also overhauled the design of the mobile-friendly website for Regatta, which you can see if you visit www.hrr.co.uk with your mobile phone.
Happy New 2012 everyone! A new year, and a new release of our Content Management System. I can feel the excitement in the air...
This one is called Harold and is version 4.2. New features include:
If you want to find out more about the new features, we've listed them here.
The new version will be rolled out to all of our customers soon. If you want a demo of Hidden CMS, just get in touch.
We recently created an on-line application form for one of our clients, which allows people to submit an application for a grant using their website.

Once an application has been submitted, the site administrators can log in to Hidden CMS and view each one:

We also added the ability to export all of the application details to Excel, so that committee members can see an overview at meetings.
If you'd like something like this creating for you, please get in touch.
